  • I don't think anyone in New Orleans is worried about that. It is way too far out. Besides, we're not even close to Cat 3+ season yet and the oceans are several degrees cooler than they were last summer at this point.

  • comcast updates the modem configs and connected MAC devices occasionally, so you started working when this happened. the way around it is to shut everything off and wait 1 minute. then turn the modem back on, followed by the router.

  • i have always been a fan of linksys. you can pick up a wrt54g on criagslist or ebay for $20. then you can email me and i will send you a link for upgraded firmware to make the thing rock out like a $1000 piece of equipment (but it isn't necessary).
