Well... I exchanged it for a replacement... which has two dead pixels. I think I'm kind of screwed at this point.

I got the 2.2, but mostly because I wanted the better graphics card and a 7200 RPM hard drive, which will probably make more of a difference in speed than the extra 10% clock speed. You can get the faster hard drive in the 2.0 but it costs $100 extr…

Has the option to add a higher resolution 15" display always existed, or is that new with this revision? I was hoping for a full 1080p, but 1680x1050 might be worth the $100 upgrade...

I'm pretty sure that's misleading... I don't think they actually charge $15 to use your own exchange server (I believe its just for verizon's hosted servers). AT&T has the same $15 fee for corporate accounts, which no one actually pays.

Yeah... I enabled the double-click to drag feature. I find it really annoying. I can't get used to it. Any one have any thoughts on fixing the button?

thanks, ill check it out. i was also wondering--this hadn't even ocurred to me before--but what about a firewire 800 card in the express slot? would i be better off with this or eSATA? I hadn't even really thought about a RAID... I'm really just a …

I can't believe that more people haven't taken notice of this program. It's great. Really improves the experience of using a MBP. A control like this should have been part of the operating system all along. I understand that Steve Jobs has this thin…

But I was under the impression that Apple had been fixing computers with the whine. Has anyone successfully had this problem resolved? Also, just because these are "notebooks" and not "laptops," I don't think that makes it acceptable for them to get…

I own a week 25, 2.0 Ghz Macbook Pro. It suffers from both the processor whine and excessive heat--at least, I consider it excessive. It can become so hot that it's unpleasant to type on. I'd thought that newer versions of the MBP didn't have the pr…
