Check out architosh.com. There's information posted concerning VW and G5's.

Rogue (Shakespeare Stout is my favorite), Pete's Wicked Ale, and whenever I'm in Pittsburgh, Penn Pilsner.

I remember my PB 160, running Word 5.1 ... the best version of Word, IMHO. I wish Word X run half as well.

Actually a very good article on design. I wish more papers would discuss the design of products in everyday lives ... all the better for designers. I remember Apple pushing DVD drives before CD-RW drives, believing that consumers wanted to make a…

Do companies pay to plaster construction sites with ads or is just some random individual(s) doing it for them? I find it hard to believe that Apple, especially their legal department, would allow people to go around plastering private property with…

My 3G iPod slid out from my bag, which was sitting on a desk, onto a concrete floor, causing it to bounce a few times. Later that day, it slid out of my bag again and fell onto a sidewalk. No problems at all. I now keep it in the sleeve...

Maybe you could try it and tell us?

If you have an iPod w/o dock connector, you can upgrade to version 1.3.1...sounds simple and straight forward to me.

Since 1995, I've owned a PB 160, 3400, G3 Lombard, and currently a Ti 400. Never had a problem with any of them...Apple really makes amazing laptops!

Nice--I like the charcoal one. Do you miss the zoom and optical view finder?

Wow, that's a nice surprise...too bad I have a habit of signing by books so nobody takes them. I wonder if that would hurt its value. The book has some amazing pictures, but the editorials absolutely suck.

If you have to shell out money for VPC, then it's better to spend that money on a used PC laptop. Seriously. Using AutoCad under VPC for any kind of work is not fun. Please trust me on this and refuse your curiosity to 'just try for yourself.' You w…

It would be slower under XP...stick with Win2000. There's less eye candy for graphics emulation.

I've used AutoCad running under VPC on a PB G3/333, PB G4/400, PB G4/1 GZ, and a PB 17 inch. The 17 inch ran it the best, but not that great. The problem lies in the lack of graphics card support. That said, if any serious work needs to get accompli…

Perhaps, but I think that under Jag, the 'Burn' button changes from 'burn' to 'append' or something like that....you just have to burn additional sessions through Disk Copy and not the Finder.
-
It should be in Disk Copy. When you burn the disk there should be an option to create multiple sessions. Then, next you burn data to the disk. the 'burn' button changes to something else...I forget the exact wording.

Well badtz, if you feel so bad about the gas milage your car gets, then don't drive. What you don't realize is that your comment is the exact reason car makers produce bigger and bigger SUV's--because even though everyone complains about them, m…
