Yup it will work fine, the OS has always supported multi button mice and OS X gives you a preference panel so you can change settings, assign functions without the need for drivers.

Or it could be a nice replacement for system alerts, replace the bouncing dock icons with non intrusive transparent alert windows that can be ignored and clicked through, fading over time.

Sorry to shift topic but how do you send a message to another user on your network using the terminal. On our PC network I can use the "net send" command in DOS (eek) to have a message pop up on a users screen. Is there a unix equivalent?

Looks great, will definetly use this app for creating web animation audio. Ahhh, brings me back to long hours spent infront of Octamed on the Amiga. Always wanted Apple to make a tracker/ easy to use music app. But I bet the interface is still slow…

Locomotive, Not sure about others world wide but last I heard Apples plant in Cork in the South of Ireland was still assembeling finished G4s. IBM also have a huge Production/R&D facility in north Dublin but I have no evidence of any link.
