I bought a DSC-W1 from Sony a couple years back. I've not been happy with the picture quality at all. I'm sure many of the Sony cameras are great, but I won't be buying a Sony camera when I upgrade this spring. Maybe I got a lemon, but I've had a lo…

This is an odd time to introduce a new phone. The idea of a cell phone tower is fading technology. Soon these towers will be converted to broadband internet towers, a la Wimax, and you'll be using VoIP software to make ALL calls. Apple, and everyone…

It would be so much easier to jump in and out if they just teamed up with Nintendo.

I think this is getting blown out of proportion here. I hope. Open source software and net nuetrality should be the goal. I hate that Microsoft tries to subvert those things. Apple has its tendencies to go that way when it helps. I'd hate to see the…

C'mon guys. Google Spreadsheet is great. And its free and it takes up ZERO hard drive space. If that doesnt do what you need, get OpenOffice.

One thing about Google. They wont let Apple make money by using their tools. They are pretty devout when it comes to free access. But Google's presence on the board of directors has to manifest somehow. I really expect there to be some sort of s…

Foxylicious is outstanding... and thanks for the Chronosync link. The Google Calendar appears to be close to getting much better. There is a post on the Google Mac Group saying that they are now looking for beta testers for a tool that will allow…

I havent used IE in over two years at home. I've never had a problem. The Opera browser above works great though. I just think there are tons of reasons to switch to Firefox outside of this issue.

According to today's headlines, Microsoft just announced an 80GB hard drive for the XBox plus a new HD quality video download service. Apparently leaving Amazon out in the cold. All it needs is a TV tuner and a DVR. Apple is going to respond wit…
