The USB interface does not allow for a steady flow of information, rather, it sends data in chunks. Therefore you can't really "work" off of a USB2 HD, even though it's technically as fast as Firewire, so video editing or even just watching movies o…

It was quite obvious that he didn't have an imac hiding under the table. The system info panel showed a 2.4 ghz Pentium 4 proc, as you know, no imac ever had this cpu.

Oh right, I was looking for something that says it's not intel compatible.
-
Ok makes sense. But are you sure that the current version of Tiger is not Intel compatible? I mean, in the MacOS board someone just installed OSX on a dell.
-
Alright but that wasn't the point, I meant that there is in fact a retail version of OSX. When leopard comes out there will be an intel retail version.
-
Wow that's pretty cool. it's weird to see "2.4ghz Pentium 4" in the information panel.

I feel sorry for the person that will agree to become your partner. Either way good luck.

I'm not so much criticizing the macOS comic as the wendy one actually. I don't have to be between the age of 40 and 60 to understand that those strips are pretty lame. Those kind of strips have been around since the 50s, and they just aren't funny a…

The stories in all of your comics make no sense. Your drawings are good though, so I suggest you find someone (with a sense of humor) to write the stories and jokes, that you can just draw the comics for. Otherwise this is just not going to work. …

Just out of pure and simple curiosity, how old are you?

An option to turn off all the eye candy would be fair. I think giving people options is always a good idea. But that reminds me of when I used to work at best buy, when people bought a windows PC, the techs would offer their spiel on whatever ext…

I timed it, and the genie effect takes about .5 seconds. Seriously man c'mon.

Yeah, I 've been wanting to find out how to install XP without actually having the SP2 version CD with boot camp. There has to be some sort of workaround for people that bought an earlier version of XP. Anyone know way?

I can't believe you bought a macbook a few hours before the keynote. I mean, I know it was your intention to get a second hand one. But I would atleast wait those few hours just to see. Just out of principle man. sheesh!

I know this is probably not funny to you guys but I am sitting here reading the thread at my PC, and I push F12 to check the countdown widget. And alas, nothing. For a second there I was like, what...the...F.... Then I realized, I'm not at my MBP. …

Thanks for the replies folks. My sound problem disapeared by itself so I dunno what it was, just hope it doesn't come back.

Jeeeeeezus. those guys probably haven't sold one thing since they started their website. I mean, everything is soooo overpriced. Example: ACD 23" $1000 more and ACD 30" $1200 more. OH MY GOD. Oh and, why in the world would anyone buy a crappy ib…

what do you mean? There is a printed user manual in the box. Together with the install dvds

To be honest, I don't really understand why so many pc users like to make windows look like OSX, I mean, I never really thought OSX was THAT good looking, it's more the way it functions and is organized that got me. It's still better looking than an…
