It's a cool ad... the opening shot reminds me of the opening shot of the 1984 ad. I wonder if that was intentional? Also, did anyone notice that they changed the time on the iPhone in the ad to 9:42 PM instead of their traditional AM?

It's the grey hair and unshaven beard that makes him look a little older. Even so, I think he looks fine for his age, especially considering he's a cancer survivor.

Actually, the iMac was not launched at that special event - it only brought new models of all the iPods and a demo of "iTV." The updated iMac showed up on the site a week earlier with no event to introduce it.
