That only works on a PC, BTW. Jus' sayin'.

Uhhhhhh... from the information you've given, you're screwed (that is, if you really don't have your external HD anymore). You need to check in iTunes Preferences>Advanced and look at the directory that the files are stored in. If that directory …

Now it's working. Looks like audiopollution fixed it.

It's quite odd. I think the default vBulletin favicon is quite ugly. And I don't think it has anything to do with Mac vs. Windows. I explicitly remember it working when I first started regularly posting here at AI forums. It used to have the main si…

Definitely Mp3tag. I haven't found an alternative for it on OS X. Nothing comes close.

Most Ridiculous/Nerdy Thread Title of the Year!

YES! You're not the only one who has complained about this. It's probably the most annoying thing I've encountered in iTunes. I don't understand it at all. It's not a feature as far as I'm concerned. I don't think you can turn it off. If anyone k…

Main reason it's better: less fragmentation. FAT32 fragments really easy. Also, FAT32 only supports files up to 4GB. You can also use it as a boot drive if you're using a FireWire interface. Only downside is you have to install software on PCs to vi…

If you can build some sort of peripheral robot that will flip the switch on your external drive. Yeeeeaaaahhhh.

I guess it depends on your model, as most have different drivers. My HP Photosmart C4280 has all Universal drivers and utlities. Have you downloaded the latest software from HP? It won't auto-update for you.

My post was quite off-the-bat. I don't usually make personal attacks. I just get fed up with these threads involving trivial problems that can be solved with one little action. All you need to do is add a bookmark for that site, even if you only "oc…

That's debatable. I recommend Rita. Wayyyyyy better.

I don't really see the problem here. If you've visited the site once before and it's still in your history, it autocompletes. You're very stubborn and difficult. EDIT: I'm addressing the thread starter.

You paste that line into Terminal. It is an application located in /Applications/Utilities.

Have you sorted the stack by date?

Not to mention that the password utility was useless on a Mac. It was Windows-only. I'm glad I got rid of U3 on my flash drive.

You pay $200 more for the color, 40GB more HD space, and more visible fingerprints. The aesthetics aren't worth it. Trust me. I've had my white Macbook for a year and I can't see a scratch on it unless I look at it in direct lighting from an angle. …
