Why is this thread still stickied? Shouldn't FAQs be stickied? Important notices? I'm sure this question has been asked plenty of times, which would make it great for an FAQ.

That's because your desktop is a folder in the Finder too. The desktop is a special folder though.

For #3, you have to have iPhoto selected and then hit the Time Machine button. It does use the iPhoto interface. But Jobsie never demoed it with iTunes. If you're not getting the iPhoto interface (when iPhoto is selected) when selecting Time Machine…

You can't use a .Mac account in AIM. AIM uses screennames (not an e-mail address like .Mac), but those screennames have to be available. Once a screenname has been registered, it can't be used again so you'll have to find a new one if it's not avail…

Just use Quay and get it over with. Works pretty much exactly like the old implementation except you left-click instead and you can only use one folder currently. Good enough for me, I just added my Documents folder.

I feel ya man. I've got about 140GB of music (over 20,000 songs). It's taken me years and years of sorting, tagging, etc. to get it how it is. I don't let iTunes mess with my organization model. It's there to play it, I'll handle the rest.

Get a program like OnyX or Cocktail and clear you application and system caches. Sometimes old entries build up and get kind of annoying. You can also try dragging an image to the Photoshop icon on the Dock instead of messing with context menus.

Have you run Software Update from the Apple menu? I got an HP printer driver update through it after I first installed.

jiggawhat, it's called etiquette. Apparently you've never heard of it. You seem very selfish.

I have Office 2007 for Windows on my PC. I still think it's terrible. But that's just the opinion of one man.
