Add a requirement. Make it so they can only be grayscale, no color at all. That would look rather nice in the current forum.

Yes. Only because sonicblue had such a cool one (that was generated on the fly from his webserver).

[quote]Caesar wants $$$ and he thinks shifting more casual mac topics to premium subscriber only sections will get him more subscriptions. You might qualify that by saying: "Ars is still losing money, forcing Caesar to subsidize the technical par…

That's what I would do. Look into a wired/wireless router. Netgear makes a very nice one.

Windows 98 isn't safe or secure. You'd be better off upgrading to Windows 2000 or XP. Otherwise, there are 3rd party programs that exist to help with internet sharing. I don't have any hands on experience with any of them though.

What OS on the PC? If you buy a network card for it, and a reasonably cheap wireless access point, you can plug the access point into the PC and share your internet connection. If you're using Win2k or XP, right click on the internet connection in…

[quote]Why not hook the 2D API DIRECTLY to the hardware? The more you type, the more I'm convinced you have very little clue of what you're talking about. [quote]Why not have the hardware makers accelerate the 2D API. Wouldn't that be best o…

scott_h_phd: You're full of shit. Seriously. [quote]OSX is making some pretty good inroads and it certainly develops faster than Windows X does(Is XP all that better than 2000...I think not). 1) When the OS stagnates like the MacOS did…

[quote] But even if you clear your browser cache the files are still there. Hidden by microsoft. Why is this? Gosh, it can't have anything to do with the way the file system works, can it... Deleting a file simply marks the physical space on …

If you release it, I'll probably buy an iPod.
