Scary? Did you notice any difference between the two cards in applications like QuarkXPress or Photoshop? Or would you expect very little difference between them when running these applications anyway?

Looks like a retouch to me. The bottom edge of the panel, just above the Apple logo, where it meets the frame, looks as though it's been badly cloned.
