I can see where it needs an update. It'd be great if it included i7 processors in the new iMac.

I don't see how this really affects anything. Yes, uptake of DX10 has been slower, but that doesn't mean people are going to run out and make it for a completely new platform. Instead they're just sticking with DX9/DX10 co development. Being first o…

Where is everyone getting that most CEO's do nothing? It seems rather weird that someone running a company could do nothing and would still have a job 6 months later.

Am I the only one who thinks its a bit awkward to be talking down about Intel hardware, while using that as the example for switching to Nvidia, in the same week that Apple has mentioned Nvidia video cards have been a problem in the past?

I find it somewhat funny that LSI is labelled as a feature here. Doesn't really seem to help anyone but Apple.

Good job by Apple for actually explaining what the updates fix! I've been getting annoyed with them for just saying "it fixes stuff" for the previous two years I've owned Macs. Nice to see them finally explain some defects.

Just installed iTunes 8.0.1, says it installed correctly but doesn't do anything again. Will look at if there is any more stupidity about uninstalling iTunes apple may have introduced before I uninstall it first.

Nothing?

When they say a price target, what does that mean? It will hit the price in the next quarter, year, or when?

Nope, haven't moved it.

Nope, no go, it did repair some permissions though. ran system update and nothing. Manually installed iTunes 8, says its installing 17.5 MB and that it installed successfully, but still running iTunes 7.7. Weird that it doesn't give me any error mes…
