Sony should skip buying Apple, they should just hire Tog and work out their ridiculous interfaces. My 300 disc DVD changer has the most confusing interface I have ever seen. I can't believe it made it to market that way. More importantly, Sony is…

The real revolution will be 802.16, metropolitan networks stretching for many miles. When wireless is truly ubiquitous, say goodbye to phone carriers, cellphones, and basically any proprietary network. Everything will have receivers built into them …

I just wish there were more good-looking white/silver speakers out there. Klipsch has a set of Star Wars edition speakers that look sweet, but they are charging a fortune. There are the Creative I-Trigues, but supposedly lack midrange. There are als…

Quote: Originally posted by dnisbet Sony Ericsson T68i, it's got all of the features you listed and works nicely with my Mac, it's fairly small, battery lasts for ages. I know it's a fairly old phone now, but I can't think of anything more I'd…

Anything support the USB Cuecat?

This is really a job for the filesystem and metadata which is an endless discussion. HFS+ is just okay, something like Reiser4 or the old BFS could do a lot of cool things that HFS+ just really can't handle. When tied with folder actions and scripts…

While there is space for a bluetooth card on the motherboard for future versions, I would rather have WiFi and be able to sync over the internet to my computer. If it had WiFi, I wouldn't really need Bluetooth.

So basically you want a smaller PDA?

How about a better looking case? God that thing is ugly in pics. I guess I will have to see it in person...

I think that Apple should drop Roxio and instead focus on Media Jukebox, a far superior app from a far smaller company. Frankly it is pretty comparable to iTunes and would be a way better basis for iTunes Windows.

Wow, I never noticed that, way cool. Thanks

I would just settle for quicktime song previews....

I would rather see them chop the monitor off of an eMac and sell it to people in schools and enterprise. Plenty of schools aren't about to throw out a perfectly good monitor and prefer the pizza box arrangement.

So they can't just run it out of cgi-bin with a blogger.com style web interface. Or just license movabletype or pMachine, restrict what can be done and let people set up blogs, integrated with HomePage? It would not be that hard for them to do. …

[quote]Originally posted by M3D Jack: Everyone keep suggesting BlueTooth on an iPod. I wonder why. The bandwidth of Bluetooth is something like 1.1Mbps. I don't remember exact numbers, but it is pretty low. Why would you want to transfer mp3s that …

Frankly I think iSync is a sign that Apple has decided really not to bother with their own handheld and there is no way they would even consider releasing one that was $999. Maybe as a mac tablet computer but I don't think the market is there yet. …
