  • Shared networking is working fine for me with VPC 6.0 and Win 2000 Pro. It set itself up automatically after installing windows. Maybe a reinstall of VPC and then windows onto VPC would help? PS i'm on my campus network using a DHCP connection

  • I've said it before, and i'm going to say it again: The next powebook will use a g4. This rumour is actually believable. Hopefully this will be the last of apple's pro machines to use a g4. Edit: this is pure speculation

  • I agree that FW 800 on iPods would be complete overkill, but with the new dock and dock connector adding FW800 would be as easy as releaseing a new cable and a slightly updated iTunes. either way its a waste of money.
