I’m expecting the AR/VR product to require an iPhone just like Watch & Airpods - I suspect the iPhone will provide the bulk of the processing power to enable a smaller/lighter product. It might even require a brand new iPhone 15, but I suspect …

He probably thinks it would be better to increase the dividend.

There’s a lot of options for Apple. At a minimum I expect Apple to still always review apps before providing a signed/certified version to be available for distribution. Where the distribution is outside the app store the developer will have to pa…

What a crock of from Mark Guessman. “sideloading” will require nothing more than signing an app with a different type of certificate and then a means of distribution. There is already more than one iOS app store, there is the public one, then there…

I know no-one asked but I want a 16” iPad Pro - of course I might have to get a Wacom for ZBrush instead.

Apple should at least be allowed to charge 3rd party stores a fee for each and every sale on a 3rd party store. Ideally Apple will void all warranty on the device and all on-device apps if a 3rd party store is installed and only allow apps from a s…

If there’s any truth to this then it’s a pre-production prototype and likely not yet down-clocked for real-life heat issues, so final product will have lower numbers.

Looks decent for those short on space, but is pricey compared to alternatives like the Caldigit Element Hub. I wonder if it gets hot. I like my Caldigit Element Hub that costs $229 - most of the time that is . It has more ports but still focuses on…

EU is a joke, but at least we know that Apple will just add €100 to the price of each iPhone in EU to cover the cost of doing business their way.

if reality couldn’t be augmented there would be no need for beer

It’s going to be intriguing for sure. PSVR2 might be the better product for gaming, but I expect to be buying the first Apple AR/VR head gear. I’m more of a rower than a biker so it would be neat for that if not too heavy.

Gurmy is always vague and bet-hedging so he can claim hits to his predictions like the psychics at the fun-fair.

That would do me nicely

I still rock my Silver Link Bracelet with…. the original Apple Watch it came with (series 0). Maybe this year will be the year I upgrade to a newer Apple Watch - but you can bet it will still be paired with a Silver Link Bracelet.

We’ll have to see what the law amounts to - Apple might still be allowed their commission on all sales in 3rd party app-stores, Apple might be able to disable key iPhone/iPad features if a user uses a 3rd party app-store due to security concerns, Ap…

The AR/VR will be a solid new addition but a small affair at first like the Watch was - will be interesting to see how well it integrates with AppleTV - I imagine high cinema quality movie nights might become an option at home - maybe I won’t need t…
