It always seemed odd to me that Apple eliminated Aperture. Why not do the same to Final Cut Pro -- kill Final Cut Pro and iMovie and make a new app "Movies"? Hopefully Photos will continue to improve.

Sigh, the first apple update to mess up my iMac (mid-2011). iMac won't restart to complete the update, and just hangs at any restart now. It's usable with a force shut down, but I really didn't want to do a clean install :-(

Is there an easy way to determine which apps (on my iPad) are currently 32-bit? or which apps have been discontinued by the developer -- I have too many apps, and don't pay attention to which ones update, or how current they are.

I think this is why everything is moving toward a subscription model. You won't own software/music/movies/... just pay a monthly fee for access, when you die there's no transference of anything. Your spouse would just start their own subscription …
