I would definitely get a ThinkPad. Solid notebooks, and great design too. (relative to other PC notebooks, of course)

Even though I doubt that Apple ever had a majority market share in the PC market, they were well on their way. They did not lose direction because they did not fail. Then Sculley took over. Sculley made a couple of costly decisions, one of which was…

Sculley took over in 1985. Apple still had direction before he took over. Sculley bogged Apple down with too many side projects, and lost focus on what was most important, the Macintosh.

Sculley has no right to be making any comments. He kicked Steve out of Apple and declared himself a visionary, despite knowing nothing about the industry.

Good commercial, crap-tacular music. I don't understand why companies are promoting just a certain lifestyle. This year's trend more than ever: ghetto fabulous. I wouldn't mind another ad. Perhaps playing Radiohead? But that would be pushing it. Mos…

My new 12" Rev. B can get warm, but nowhere near hot. It never gets hotter than my iBook 500 MHz (Dual USB). It does seem to warm up faster...

I just got my new 12" DVI with a SuperDrive today. Slight wobble. Depends on which surface I put it on. Maybe my desk is just warped... Really fast, at least coming from a 500 MHz iBook. Fan has come on once, not too bad... It doesn't get any …

The FireWire plug felt loose in the Ethernet port, so the contacts should be okay...I guess. I didn't have the FireWire cable plugged into something on the other end... Still a dumb move on my part....

For some reason, I am unable to delete the OS 9 System Folder. It gives me a warning that the folder is being used by the System, and that I can't trash it.

OMG...that is sweet. And I never use the word "sweet" for anything.

AAC doesn't support DRM, so Apple won't allow you to download songs in that format.

Sorry. It seems I started the logo feud about the similarities. All I said was that the new Panther Finder icon looked like the classic Mac OS logo ( a glossy version, if you want to quote me), in that the nose and eyes were bigger... Are there diff…
