Not for the faint of heart, and it can cause incompatibilities and glitches, but if you know what you're doing it's fine. If you have the last beta profile installed, the new ones will show up.

Turn any filters in System Settings->network settings->Filters OFF, and that should work for the time being. Turning LS monitoring off alone isn't enough.

I find the ios betas a lot easier to live with than the OSX ones. OSX has too many incompatibilities and stability issues. IOS is pretty straight forward and seems generally fine to me to use.

This is no surprise at all. Apple has been in the slow lane for years on this subject. They need to step it up and at least try to be hardware, and somewhat price competitive.

It really seems like faster and large SSD drives are never going to become reasonably priced for the masses. It's a shame, since it really does improve the user experience quite dramatically .

So public betas should brick apple's new computers and you think that is acceptable? If that is to be the case, they shouldn't give us seed access. Bugs maybe ok, but not total os failure....
