I've seen this update come up. All the user has to do is read what the update is and decide if they want it or not. Honestly, if people are really too lazy to read before downloading, they deserve what ever headaches that they get for it.

I hope Apple disappoints them all and exeeds the goal. In the end, if Apple only sold 8 million phones that would be huge achievement. The analysts will see it as a failure though

I'm not sure who the villain is here but, I think that it's shameful that NBC and Apple couldn't play nice. Hopefully, this won't happen with any other networks.

When I worked at the Apple store Willow Bend, I noticed Christmas buyers always buying the lower cost iPods as gifts. This happens every Christmas season. Gift buyers are often cheap bastards. They never buy AppleCare or any other add-on.
