Shared albums are not original image/video quality. While shared library is plus I believe you could have many albums inside the shared library.

Many contractors like doing that when it is wrong. The latch should pull the door tightly against the seal. NOT the deadbolt.

I’m using a homebridge server and myQ plug-in (https://www.npmjs.com/package/homebridge-myq) and it’s works great. Hopefully chamberlain doesn’t ditch the APIs involved which would break the plug-in too. Of course that would also break sold bridges …

Biggest missing feature is multiple users. I can buy a surface or MBA and various family members can use it. IPad is tied to a single one of my kids appleid.

I don’t work for any lock company. Look in Reddit’s august lock for tons of examples from many people. Personally have the gen4 and it’s junk. Turn off wifi if you don’t want to spend a fortune on batteries and just use HomeKit . It’s super slow. Yo…

The poor support and bugs in August products are so abundant that it really should not be on a list like this. Unless of course AppleInsider is getting paid for pushing this; in which case I wouldn’t trust this list at all…

It’s really too bad they didn’t just put tvOS on these with a Mac display app in it. They could have even had a FaceTime app so the display could also optionally function as a stand alone device… and then use the remote or connected Mac to control i…

18 is old enough to both vote and buy alcohol in Alberta. Not exactly an innocent child?

Another con for the Logitech is that it is still not available in many countries like Canada…

When they first announced iMessage Steve Jobs said they were opening it up as an open standard. That was back when tech mattered more to Apple than money. Really too bad we now have these million different closed messaging systems instead…

Seems like HomeKit secure video recording has been fixed as well.

I’m mostly pissed at HKSV no longer working. And their support just walks you through turning stuff off and on again and logging out and back into iCloud. Fixes nothing and then your device spends an eternity getting photos, email, etc in sync again…

My circle view cameras no longer do notifications. I couldn’t watch any recordings so switched them to stream from “stream and record” and now I can not move them back. The home UI just spins a while then gives up with no error message. Furthermore…

IPad OS is missing the biggest feature from MacOS: multiple accounts. I want an iPad where each member of the family can log in and use it fully (keychain, messages, etc) instead of it being primarily a single person’s device. Not everyone can affor…

I know there are third party apps for it but I really wish Apple would build in sharing printers out as AirPrint printers. I think that would be used by more people than airplay to my Mac…

Siri on device. What a concept. Just like how it used to work when Apple bought that tech. And honestly it was more responsive back on my iPhone 4 too… never got “working on that” and other bullshit back then. Used to also be much better at finding …

Why are apps such a big deal? What about the monopoly on wireless driver or Bluetooth stack or any other piece?

Not necessarily. I bet just the contents of the web page you are taken to are updated. It would be nice to know that someone with IP in area X read your air tag...
