And it works. Set up my Apple Watch to have my Hop card in Wallet, just before going to the MAX station. Held my watch in front of the same terminal I usually hold my Hop card to, don't need to wake up the watch or iPhone. One less card.

I bought one off of Kickstarter, works great. I was surprised to find it works with my 2018 MBP as well, when I need a card reader or HDMI out. I don't have to remove the PVC shim, it grips the side and I can close the lid.

Not only does it do last year's 5K iMac, but external monitors also get it as well. I've got a 24-inch monitor next to my iMac I purchased in February, and both show 30-bit color in System Report.
