Open Activity Monitor and show the # of threads column and you'll see that most have more than 1 thread that can be distributed across multiple cores.

iDefrag will do the job and protect the hot zone area among other things.

It doesn't quite work that way. It's actually better. If an application uses multiple threads which most do to some extent, each thread can potentially be on a different core depending on the load balancing of the system.

Double-clicking to open a torrent will be fixed in the next version of Azureus 2.5. If you know how to work with the CVS versions, you can install the latest beta. Regarding bouncing on intel.... Use the intel version.

Try http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/29983. Just did a quick search and it sounds like it could do what you want.

The same thing happens to me. I just keep on submitting the crash reports to apple so they eventually fix the issue.

Not only is it an annoying ad, but why is it on every page and most the time at the top and bottom which doubles up the volume of the sound too. Then I usually open new tabs when browsing, which increases the volume further. This is insane.

I usually burn with Toast, so I'm not as familiar with Disk Utilities options, but I would suggest to try burning at a slower speed.

Ummmm, never use windex on a computer screen. It can actually damage some types of screens because it's too strong. Lens cleaner could be ok, but frankly I've simply wet a soft cloth with water and then works fine unless you got some nasty goop on y…

To clarify, you don't have to let the entire song play through. Play count is incremented when the end of the song is reached and it moves on to the next track. So if you want to artificially increment the play count, start a track playing, click i…

While maybe not as efficient for some, there already is a bookmark search at the bottom of the bookmarks window.

Azureus usually hovers in the 160-170 MB range for memory usage for me. Do you have a very large amount of torrents running and plugins installed? That could raise things quite a bit.

Try the intel version.
