The only feature I’d pay double for is double the battery life.

Nomad’s stuff is so grossly over priced. It’s worse than OWC who at least have some unquote engineering talents. So it costs twice as much as an Apple MagSafe charger and charges at half the speed. Does this have any redeeming qualities?

Dark mode looks great, but it’s buggy as hell. Notifcations are the worst. The Notifcations UI is awkward with no proper overall view, just a cramped incomplete sidebar. The notifications themselves fail to dismiss and trigger multiple pop ups ho…

Those stats are monumentally misleading... Assuming Rescuecom gets an equal number of repairs from each brand based on total market share is a ridiculously poor false assumption. Owners are way more likely to call or take Apple products into an …

Where do I sign on? When my iPhome 6 was 18 months old and still under AppleCare it started spontaneously dying when the battery remaining was 40% and I did something like shoot a video. Apple wouldn’t replace the battery because I wasn’t on the…

Wireless charging could mean dropping the lighting port.... and bringing back the audio jack right?

AgileBits has been openly hostile to their most passionate user base of years so this is no surprise. They still have the best product, but every change they ever made has been driven by maximizing sales and profit over giving users what they want.…

I've been eagerly anticipating this and ordered it on launch day. It's exactly what I've wanted in a drone for travel video. I have friends with big heavy and amazing drones, they amazing. I travel all the time though and size and weight means ever…

I didn't see it at first, but I do think this is a smart move. - ride hailing is very consumer focused and drives smart phone adoption in emerging markets - Siri fetch me a didi ride to Tian'anmen - America please welcome Didi to your fine shores y…

There are 2 reasons I jailbreak my iOS devices #1 Swipeselect. I seriously can't stand typing on an iOS keyboard without swipeselect enabled. #2 Customized control center (I like quick access to personal hotspot). Seriously that's it... I could…

The schedule for the iPhone 5 was: Sept. 4th announced event, Sept. 12th announced phone at event, Sept. 14th started pre-orders, Sept. 19th started delivery Based on that, we can roughly we can expect the 5s will go something like this: Week of Se…

Interesting scenario... Currently in the US there isn't much (any) incentive to buy a non-subsidized phone since monthly rates are the same either way. The difference tends to be if you're on a 2 year cract or not, and most people this as irreleva…

Next week Apple patents the wheel.... Seriously though, there store design is pretty unique and recognizable. I just don't know that it's so unique as to warrant a patent. Were there really not other stores with glass fronts, shelves agains…

I think everyone is overlooking a market equally important to "emerging markets"... kids... More and more kids 12-16 are getting phones, and most parents don't want to put $600 devices in their hands. This is also about producing a new gat…

Lack of thunderbolt out is a deal breaker for me. No biggie, I can wait and find something else, but my MBP only has one TB out and I want a dock that would allow running two external displays. Also, I'd rather have those displays connected via di…

With Adobe's history of charging for the most trivial of updates I'm going to be shocked if this isn't a paid upgrade... "CS 6.5 w/ retina support please bring your wheel barrel of money". Sorry for the cynisim I just lost all respect for adobe ye…
