I bought the Adobe Web Collection in Dec. 2000 (Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive, Livemotion). The four CDs come in the one collection box, not separate boxes for each program. I wouldn't think it would violate licensing agreements to sell an individu…

I'll take it to: [email protected] What roms do you guys have anyway?
-
Sure, check out my iDisk.
-
Yes, I believe it supports all graphic files viewable with QuickTime, including Photoshop, TIFF, Targa, etc.
-
My major beef (besides its speed) is the fact that, because it's based on QuickTime, it can't recognize native Illustrator files. I would love to import Illustrator clipart since there's no way of viewing thumbnails for these files.

A digital camera isn't needed to take advantage of iPhoto. For example, a hefty collection of stock photography came on my Illustrator upgrade CD and I was able to import it by dragging the folder on top of the app. Easy as pie and about as slow.

I'm still waiting for US support for Epson SC 600; it was a stupid model and I'm not holding my breath.

There's something else missing that bothers me even more: lack of support for Illustrator images. It can display Photoshop files just fine but not .ai files which disappoints me.

LiveMotion is ok but with the Flash capabilities in AE, why use it? Still, I like its interface a lot more than Flash's, though I only used it once in a seminar. I got lost halfway through

Yes, I'm purchasing upgrades to Office, ViaVoice, After Effects, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, and I'll (hopefully) soon be getting upgrades to GoLive and Photoshop. LiveMotion is the only upgrade I don't consider important enough to purchase, especia…

It's almost well-known that GoLive will be announced/released at MWSF because Adobe posted the specs early on their website. Apple probably won't release webpage design software since they have Homepage already but, if they do, iSite sounds much coo…

By the way, PeakDV installed just fine for me. Double check the serial number you're entering.

I actually haven't tried installing it yet, I'll get back on that later tonight.

I know what you mean about the manuals, I'm only halfway through the first one! I hope you find it useful; now if only AE would ship.
-
Just out of curiosity, did they happen to tell you when the rest of us can expect our upgrade? Don't worry, I feel your pain.

Is there an easy way to determine if a disk is copy-protected?

I just received it today (yesterday in actuality) and installed it on my Ti 500 but I'm new to the program and am, therefore, stuck reading the (long) manuals and wasting my time. It is a gem of a program though and I'm looking forward to becoming …

No, Photoshop 5.0 LE doesn't have layer styles. What would be a simple process in 5.0/5.5/6.0 is made inherently more complex in a 'limited edition.' I recommend doing something similar to what New suggested: duplicate the image layer (inverting …
