The gold iP 5 is popular and looks very nice indeed so why not for iPads? They could do same or similar as an option for the next MB Airs (the fabled 12" model).

What OS will it run? Is one reason for Swift being developed?

I reckon they should bring back the original screen-size as an option, on a really compact iPhone. I'd be in!

> That's just because the SSD in the MBA is fast enough that you're not noticing the paging as badly. My SO had a MBP with 4 GB and a hard drive, and all she had open was Word, Chrome, Preview, and Mail, and it would page so badly that it would t…

I never thought of they business side of Swift, either. Swift and nimble! Small or large companies could write and edit new apps ASAP on demand as company direction or demands change. Apple for leading!

Aperture and iPhoto libraries were made share-able a couple of years ago; so I guess the writing was on the wall. If the new software is close to Aperture in capability, I'd probably be happy with that. But I pity the (real) pro-users who don't fanc…

Indeed, just respect the man's privacy. He's publicly come out against government eavesdropping and these prattling clowns shove him before the court of public opinion for a private matter.

Fascinating. People have been trying very hard for a non-invasive glucose monitoring since the 1970s. Apple doing scientific research? This would be HUGE if it works. Check this out http://www.google.com/patents/US8606342 a California company p…

FYI, the minimum wage in Oz ($18) is about twice what it is in the USA, so $22 isn't that much above the floor. As pointed out by others though, it's more interesting and less strenuous than the usual low wage job and they get a lot of retail- and t…

The Mac Pro is a sublime piece of kit, showing Apple is miles ahead of the non-existent competitors in this space.

Like I've been saying all along: I'm seeing lots of 5c's in the wild in the hands of young women and in particular young east asian women (I live in a touristy area in Oz). Which is most likely just the demographic Apple was going after. People who …

No, it was Marissa's doing. Says so on her blog. She's clueless about typography but insisted on doing it herself anyway. She's sure easy on the optics but for what and the way she writes - and that hideous laugh - a bit of a nitwit. --- So, tonig…
