I used Taxcut for years. Last year then decided not to make a Mac version, so I had to switch to TurboTax. I didn't see a whole lot of difference using the two, although I seemed to have more problems electronically filing with Taxcut. Since Bloc…

There is a program out called Syncotunes that you can use to keep your two computers synced up with music. Not the best program but seems to work ok.

Go to your system prefs. Open Universal Access. Under the "Seeing Menu" Make sure VOICEOVER is off. See if that helps.

I just moved from an iMac to a MacPro. First start up of the new system it asked if I wanted to transfer items from an old mac. Tell it yes. Walks you through it. Basically just connect a firewire between the two computers, restart the old one …

I google searched the other day. I think it said that the checks were going to start after April 7th. The Apple store on saturday said they heard that the checks had started already going out.

Under the iPhoto File menu there is a create film roll command. You might try highlighting the photos you want in a film roll and try the command. Haven't tried it myself, I just organize by photo date.

I had the same problem with my 15" PB last year. Took it into my local Apple Store and they sent it off for repair. They had to replace the bezel around the screen. I think I took it in on a Monday and had it back by Thursday. No problems since.

I haven't tried it, but I think You Control has a sync program that might do it.

I don't know. I'm still using 2002 that came with my iMac.

It was worth a try for me at 69 dollars on the day after Thanksgiving. I'm switching over the email account and then throw in the syncing capability and ical publishing. Seemed like a bargain.

.Mac membership is on sale today for $68 from the Apple store for those thinking about it. I decided to take the plunge at that price.

My 8 month old 15" Powerbook latch stopped holding a few weeks ago. I took it into the Apple Store in Plano TX and they sent it in for repair. Sent it in Monday, it was back at the store by Weds. afternnoon. They had to replace the whole outside …

I stand by my 1st post. I am connected via airport express to my stereo and playing iTunes nicely right now, while still cruising the internet through my Belkin wireless router.

I have this setup at home. I have the my iMac connected to the wireless router through the ethernet port. I have the airport express connected to my stereo. My powerbook can connect to both the express and the belkin at the same time, no problem

I play C&C Generals on my 15" PB 1.5Ghz. It plays well most of the time. If I'm on batteries and you get to a later part of a scenario with a lot of pieces, it slows down, but is still playable.
