A small point: the author is confusing infection fatality rate for CoVID-19 (0.5-1%) with case fatality rate (3% in the US). As used in that sentence, IFR should have been cited. Simply put, if infected you have on average a 1% chance of dying).

The Lutron Caseta switches, which don't require a neutral wire, also don't need a hub of any sort like the article states. They communicate directly with the AppleTV, Home Pod, or iPad. Their cost is comparable to other wall switches.
