Thanks, for the info Toymaker. WHen you partition I suppose each partition gets a different name, and you just direct TM to backup to the appropriate one. As for 2) I kinda figured that wouldn't be possible.

Hi, longtime reader new poster Per the Apple discussion boards this is a server problem on Apple's end. Too many people downloading all at once crashed them, and those in the middle like me were unable to complete activation.
