I think it is pretty clear that the cutout on the top of the iPad screen is for the front facing camera that wasn't included. It wouldn't have a proximity sensor there since it isn't a phone would it? edit: I guess someone else saw it before me

If I do a Get Info on the disc it says that the format is "ISO 9660 File System (Joliet)". The get info also indicates 925.4 MB used on disk. But finder only shows one file on the disc and that file is only 14.1mb. Thanks for the help.

I apologize for posting this link. I just have not seen much info or substantial rumors on any new products coming soon. I, like many people who visit this site enjoy speculating on new products and since I don't really have any insider knowledge or…

I have tried the Mach 3 but I don't like it. I prefer the Sensor 3 blade, it gives me a much better shave than the Mach 3. And I have started using an old style badger brush and Bay Rum shaving soap in a cup. I received it as a gift and I actually l…

I am pushing this back up to the top because I am still curious if anyone has a clue about this. I can connect to two afp servers via an os9 computer but not an osX computer.

Noone has implied that Konfabulator was some breakthrough piece of software but it was an innovative implementation. I love the fact that Apple is trying to improve the OS and give it more functionality, and they will probably do a better job with t…

I am using 10.3.3 with the CS apps and it seems to work fine for the most part. The only problems I have is with backwards compatibility with previous versions of Illustrator. Ill. CS does seem to be more crash prone than Ill. 10 though.

Installing as I type this. I have been waiting for this one.

mac rumors is reporting that there is indeed a 10.3.3 update that has been seeded.

There are definitely other problems, such as just dropping the connection. The server will often drop the connection to my mac 5 or six times a day. My IT guy has replaced the network card a couple of times because that is what he believes is causin…

I am pretty sure it is 2000 but it could be 2003

Problem solved... I had bad ram. I did not get the three tone beep until this morning though.

So is everyone in agreement that this could eventually find it's way into the system level of the OS, and therefore utilize multiple machines for any and all processor intensive tasks? Think about the possibilities, and think about the longevity thi…

Is it just me or does this completely muddle the product line or what? Explain to me why I would by the 12" PowerBook now. This is crazy, but good.

Either the Rumor sites got this one right for WSJ or they were relying on some other source for this article. http://www.macminute.com/2003/10/09/itunes

I found someone in the jaguar chat room. Thanks.

I am so shocked and dissapointed concerning this update. I downloaded it immediately after it came out and thought it was ok. Everything seemed to be working fine. All of a sudden while watching the new Matrix preview... Quicktime freezes. I restart…

No I didn't, but they said it was under a three year warranty. I wasn't going to argue. Is there supposed to be an extended warranty on screens.

My PB 550 used to be named TiMac but my wife redubbed it "The Mistress"

I have only been following these boards for 2 years or so, but this does seem to be the slowest, most inactive rumor period I can remember. There was so much pent up geek lust for the G5 that once it was announced and the initial afterglow period su…
