Did they drop the Kensington security slot? It was eliminated on the new mini, and I don't see any reference to it here or on the iMac tech specs page on Apple.com.

So where are the mystery bits Apple asked the FCC not to reveal???

Even if the iPad eats into iPod touch sales, what's so bad about that? iPad = $499+, touch = $199

There have long been case sensors available for desktop PCs that sound an alarm if the case is opened. Why not develop a simple circuit or sensor that is disrupted when the ipod/iphone device is opened? Then the ipod/iphone could report any tamper…

This sounds like a fairly minor "crime" to me. This sort of thing happens all the time on Amazon, eBay and thousands of other message boards and discussion forums. With 100,000+ apps on the store it's getting harder and harder for developers to ge…

Lots of computer programs have bug report options. AT&T has simply created a similar feature for their network. Treating this like some evil act by AT&T is just silly. The iPhone has put a tremendous stress on the AT&T network. iP…

argh, now all the cool apple tv hacks will have to be redesigned. that new menu looks like it's going to make adding more options more difficult.

A phone headset with two earplugs and a band connecting them would probably be unpopular - too silly/geeky looking and nobody wants to listen to music in one ear. Nice idea, but it doesn't fly design esthetics wise.

500 people worked for a year and a half and spent hundreds of millions of dollars and the whole thing fails? Brilliant. MS has a massive R&D budget and yet year after year fails to deliver any real breakthrough technology.

When I first read the headline I thought, yikes, if Verizon is attacking the iPhone does that mean they're not going to get it anytime soon? But then after watching the ad, it's clear they're mainly attacking AT&T's network. In some ways …

AI has been good at tamping down the wild Apple Tablet rumors. Early 2010 makes sense, as they've been saying for quite some time now. Most of the technical specs - screen size, CPU, etc -sound doable. The big question now is operating syste…

the rumblings have already started... watch for more layoffs and reorgs. There's going to be a lot of pressure on field sales teams to deliver, but the corporate market just isn't in the mood to spend more on IT right now. MS needs to take a r…

This obsession with recalls and suing for every imperfection is ridiculous. Portable devices have batteries. Using a battery, just about any type of battery carries risk. Having a small number short and flame out is unfortunate, but it's part of t…

The iPod nano is especially popular for kids and teens. Adding a low-end camera to the nano for this group would be very popular. The teens are probably used to crappy cell-phone cameras or cheap digital cameras, so they won't have a problem with …

The article tried to put a positive spin in it, but if 56% of the customers are already iPhone owners, Apple & ATT are ultimately taking less and less market share away from competitors. Granted, launch days tend to attract the loyal hard-core …

Apple rarely overlaps its major product announcements, this way each product gets it's own clear attention in the media. WWDC will be all about Snow Leopard. There will be no major hardware announcements out of WWDC. Apple knows that this is thei…
