I'm pretty sure that AT&T's network, in most large cities, can pull down 21mbps and T-Mobile's network is lightyears beyond 14mbps with their 42mbps network that is about to be utilized by the Galaxy S II. Some of the information in this articl…

Samsung Galaxy S? Samsung is HORRIBLE at updating their Google products, why would you pick them? The thing released one version of Android behind (2.1) and is maybe going to get 2.2. All the while the Samsung-made Nexus S is released with 2.3, …

Where does AT&T pull this stuff from? My friend's Nexus One, which isn't even HSPA+ compatible, pulls 6mbps in Austin. My Evo pulls around 4-5mbps. Verizon may be the only network that they best in flat-out download speeds... seeing that you …

Um, whatever test they conducted, they also did it with the Pre and iPhone 3GS. Something's wrong with that phone's antenna and everyone on AI knows it. I did it myself with my friend's iPhone 4. Dropped the signal massively every time. …

Going to all the trouble to make a special GSM handset for t-mobile would be idiotic. If it were so easy and appealing to Apple, they'd have done it already. Verizon, on the other hand, would give Apple millions upon millions of buyers and segwa…

Drunk guy leaves iPhone at bar. That really doesn't sound like it was stolen. Could be that Apple wants it to go down like that (theft vs. accidentally left) so they can sue the pants off Giz and everyone else (they are so good at suing)... H…

There was the iPhone, it was 2G. Then there was the iPhone 3G and 3Gs, which were 3G because they were capable of WCDMA. The next iPhone will NOT be the iPhone 4G, as it won't run on 4G networks. If you want a 4G phone, look to the Evo 4G.

I love how AppleInsider posts this and leaves it with no update after the test has been more than invalidated. I guess serious I guess this site will use whatever it can, including untrue findings, to validate their phone. lol Even Giz updated t…

This article isn't true. Did you guys test the N1? The problem is that the Gallery app in the N1's 2.1 Android software is rendering images in such a way that the bars show up. Has nothing to do with the display (and by the way OLED and LED d…

It's not cannibalizing.. It's smart. The 'tradiional ipod' market isn't something that is going to last forever. You have to innovate, and if that eats away at your old market, so be it. You want Apple to be like GM and never innovate in 20 yea…

The iPhone is on AT&T because they have a world standard (albeit horribly implimented) network: 3G WCDMA GSM. Verizon currently runs CDMA, like Sprint and a handful of other wireless providers worldwide. Creating a CDMA iPhone would force Appl…
