It makes sense to release in September. The 16e looks very over priced, part of that is because it came out months after the standard iPhone 16’s which were already discounted by stores, as such the price gap is £100 or less.

Sounds like it will be another extremely weak update. At this point, I wonder if replacing the battery on my Series 6 Cellular will be the best course to take as nothing on the newer models has gotten close to tempting me to upgrade. Perhaps the ne…

Does anyone know of an app, preferably with a lifetime licence under £50/free that will highlight the same instance of a specific word in a colour on a PDF? I’d hoped that Preview would have this seemingly simple feature, but it doesn’t.

I often think that Apple is missing a massive trick with their Health/Apple Fitness programme. They should have exercises specifically suited to the super obese who are going to try and get into better shape. The vast majority of what Apple offers …

I wonder how much better my PowerMac G5 would handle it. It’s a late 2005 Dual 2.3Ghz model with 16GB of Ram.

The thing is, Siri cannot even tell you what month it is. Try it, “Siri, what month is it”. It’s an absolute embarrassment to Apple, has been since its release and yet they’ve not bothered to fix it. Yes, we’ve had promises and the occasional enha…

I just don’t get it. I’ve seen foldable phones out and about in the wild. All of them have a visible crease when the display folds out. They do not offer a ‘best of experience’ either as a phone or as a tablet. Just grab an iPad and a phone if you…

Obviously we will have to see the final output before any decisions can be made. Still, at least for me, it felt like season 3 had a lot of filler and was of poorer quality vs season 2, which itself was not as strong as season 1. They probably shou…

Well, Siri launched back in 2011 with the iPhone 4S and it's been a moaned about disappointment since then. Might as well continue the trend.

One of the biggest barriers I've found for Mac Gaming is that the titles usually come out years later and yet expect original RRP. I'm not going to hand £50 over for a game that's only £10 on PC due to its age.

When it comes to Siri Apple always seems to over promise and under deliver. Just today I had an example how of useless Siri is. I asked the question “when will sunset occur on the 25th of April?”. Siri told me that it was sorry, but it could not gi…

I feel for those poor iPhone 15 users. They got bent over and shafted with the deliberately nerfed RAM in their iPhones so that it wouldn’t be a competitor to this iPhone 16e.

I’ve been using Pixelmator since it first came out in 2007, I was one of their original beta testers. At this point I don’t know whether to drink to a soon to be long lost friend or celebrate a positive new chapter. Pixelmator always had frequent …

Didn’t bother me on my old iPhone XS Max. The Dynamic Island still gets in the way anyway, so not big deal.
