Interesting that Apple is letting this run so close to the wire here. I guess they are playing hard arse to get a discounted settlement.

Hopefully some bug fixes and speed improvements too. My Series 6 frequently feels sluggish since I updated to Watch OS 10.

Such a shame they never worked out how to do 3D movies without the need for a stupid headset.

Goldman Sachs apparently claim that they have lost billions of dollars on this venture. I'm not sure how this is possible. If the claim was that they'd lost billions of dollars in profits, I'd understand, but to actually lose money seems nonsensical…

I don’t doubt that Apple will get there. Qualcomm makes genuinely good hardware and have an absolute catalogue of patents. Apple needs to work out how to build the modem without stepping on those and that is obviously proving very hard to do.

I was always very surprised that Apple dropped the cheapest CPU’s first and waited so long for the pro grade designs. Presumably they needed to release in that order for the first couple of generations. I’d not be surprised to see the M4 release a…

Now poor people can pretend to own iPhones. What is to be done?! /s

I wonder if it will fix the issue where I tell Siri to turn off all lights and it starts asking me which light I want turned off “is that bedroom, lounge, study, playroom, spare room, or everywhere?” and when you answer it just keeps repeating the s…

I’d be happy for them to spend a whole year just on bug fixes.

I’m a MacBook Pro guy, but for my daughters I’ve preorder an M3 iMac. They’re aged 8 & 10, so it should last around 10 years which will get them to university.

It’s a shame it’s far too soon for a real M3 Mac Pro with an extreme chip. Still, I’ve been holding off on buying an iMac for the kids. So this should end that wait.

One would suspect that some of the fluctuations occur during a notable release, such as the iPhone X, or during an unusual event. Afterall most keep their iPhones for 3-5 years now. I’m guessing the cheaper Android handsets that make up the bulk of…

The new M2 Mac Pro is essentially a machine that should not exist. Apple fucked up, could not get the M2 Extreme out of the door (or whatever they will end up calling it in the future) and felt they had to release something to meet their end of Int…

That’s not a surprise. The iPhone 14 was a piss poor upgrade over the 13, which really Apple didn’t have much choice with after they decided to keep the chips a generation behind the pro models. We’ve got an iPhone 15 on the way, will be a very goo…
