You can nuke them safely, doesn't matter how you delete it.

Never liked the kensington turbo mouse myself, it is angled up and causes my hand to bend upward, which put stress on my wrist over time. Also you really have to reach to hit all of the buttons on it. Definetely go for a middle/index finger track…

I think IMAX films have a time limit due to their reel size so a lot of films have to be edited (at least omnimax has this limitation). I watched Starwars II in Omnimax actually, certainly was interesting but eventually you got tired of moving your …

There are other programs out there that do many services in one, such as Adium (which I prefer over ichat anyway).

It will work, and doesn't really have anything to do with the filesystem (FAT, NTFS, whatever), as you will use a higher level protocol to transfer files (ftp, smb, http, ssh, etc). I find ftp to be most compatible when doing mac/pc transfers, so…

I have an LCD monitor that has DVI-I and analog inputs and occasionally on the DVI-I input, which carries both analog and digital, the monitor will use the analog channel instead of the digital one (kind of strange but used to occur for me when I to…

One of my colleagues has that same laptop described in the picture above. For someone not use to it, the keyboard is definitely way too small to be useful, not to mention the high screen DPI making things difficult to read. Personally I find 12"…

Completed auctions on ebay for QS 733s are $600 - $1100, depending on options. A five year old G4 now, say a Sawtooth/400mhz, is going for $400ish. So I would say in 2006, you could get at least $300 for the QS.

So essentially you're saying that if Sony didn't suck, they'd be good.

Just search for 'quiet computer fans' on google or something, you'll find a ton. Just find the fan that has the correct dimensions, adequate flow rate, and low volume, and install.

This is one of my biggest annoyances in Finder, lack of FTP uploading. You'll have to use another ftp program to upload, or command line ftp.

Adobe Golive is an option, I prefer it to Macromedia Dreamweaver for some reason, but I don't do any heavy web development stuff. Actually I tend to use the text editing more than wyswyg, though for tables, wyswyg is a lot nicer.

I've been using dual monitors on my Mac for a while, one DVI and one VGA monitor. The VGA monitor plugs into the DVI port on my graphics card via the included convertor. I had to get that $39 convertor to plug in my DVI monitor into the ADC port. …

You think that's bad? Every try opening files on remote ftp servers mounted in finder? It first warns you that you are opening a file on a remote server. Then you know what happens? It asks you the same thing again. WTF?!
