  • You can encode it into a RAR file and segment it. Never done this myself, not sure about the details; a program like WinRAR may do it.
  • Fully working finder ftp. It's been too long that this feature has been broken. Also would like a free equivalent of MS remote desktop, VNC isn't as good.
  • Well you could use multiple ethernet interfaces for LAN gaming, but that's not all you can do. You can use your computer as a gateway to other computers and other stuff. You probably won't ever need more than one port. LAN gaming typically involv…
  • The router firewall generally doesn't filter local traffic (by default)... you have software firewall off on the pc?
  • Come on guys, give the guy a solution as well (some people need to improve their internet searching skills...) http://macupdate.com/info.php/id/10564
  • Works fine on this HD display. Can be done for DVI as well, hot unplugging isn't a problem.
  • I think the point I was getting at was, thinking that blowing air over metal (lead) at hard drive temperatures (i.e.
  • Dude! Be careful, putting cooling fans over hard drives with lead are frickin DANGEROUS My friend's mother's colleague's brother's cat died from sitting in front of the computer's exhaust too much, which had lead solder in its circuits!!! …

  • Could get a m-audio revolution for analog 5.1, $100 or so. Probably getting a decoder may be better since you won't have to worry about drivers (G5 optical is handled by Apple). Might be cheaper decoders out there rather than the Creative one.
  • Lol, I wonder if I somehow enlightened the author of that Word 2004 trojan. Oh well (and I didn't do it!)
  • Of course, because in my infinite wisdom, I left out the super secret code that lets my trojan propagate itself (making it a virus)

  • I thought you had to register your MAC address on the netreg ( http://netreg.net.cmu.edu/ ) servers to have a permanent connection, no? Anyways, I can see your itunes share
  • Don't think you can.
  • Hm, my Safari has a resident memory size of 130MB. That's kind of sick. In fact I only have 70MB of unallocated physical RAM (1GB total), and am only running basic apps. Of course we have to realize OS X uses RAM like crazy, and caches like there…

  • You can find 512 chips for less than $100 if you look around though, Apple tends to mark up, a lot. I think Apple did a test drive program at one point, and it turned out to be a bad idea.
  • Don't particularly like coffee (it'll need 50% milk, 50% coffee, 4 sugars for me to drink it). But I love coffee ice cream, and iced coffee can be good like the Starbucks iced coffee stuff (not the double shot).
  • Am I the only one who thought humans were the subject of this discussion after reading the title? Anyways I do recall throwing a frog really high up (~2 stories), watch it fall onto cement, and not move anymore. Then there was that time I caught …
