Blah blah - Fact is it's a mirror which matte is not. Period. That you are able to ignore the reflections good for you.

Argh only glossy options left for mac. My gf just had one from work. Awfull. Even in a dark room I see my own reflection. Just hope my old matte MBP will keep on working.

The ugliest ipod touch ever.

Yes in the end I'll have to buy something else. But its one of the weaknesses of Apple that they can get away with a really bad "feature" because the mainstream user is so uncritical about them. Look at how many MBP's have been sold with double re…

Just waiting for the antiglare retina Macboo Pro ... Comon Apple - Every day I see people trying to avoid the unavoidable reflections on their Mac hardware. How hard can it be to offer antiglare as an BTO???

No it's not the same, but the old MBP were ridiculously reflective. I have looked at the MBA (which most reviews states are equal to the retina screen), and the are way to reflective still, and it's a pain to look at. Also a couple of reviews stat…

We must have been looking at two different screens. No matter how I angle the glossy screens (also MBA) I can always see reflections.

Glossy screens are like tinnitus. Yes you can ignore it but it will consciously or subconsciously put a strain on your brain. Please Apple give us a screen without this awfull mirror reflection.
-
Probably not. So pro's will have to stick with the old MBP line still.

but wouldn't this mean a lot regarding weight and battery usage? The iPhone 4 weighs 20% more than the iPod Touch. Can't be celluar all of it, or? The reason why I would prefer a iPod Touch over an iPhone is pure size. The lighter and thinner the be…

Nice info!

What we need is a smaller iPhone that will actually not feel like a brick to your ear. I'll never use an iPhone as a phone, it's way to big. Maybe if they made one with a footprint with the size of the screen.

There can be only one explanation. Apple doesn't want the iPod Touch to succeed too much thus cannibalizing the iPhone. I consider the Touch a very nice pda device, it just need it to be 3g enabled also. The iPhone is nice too but way too bulky as a…

and same form factor - That would be a killer Touch ...

while matte was still available.
