The Israelis have a device that they sell to governments that can access all iPhones including the X at will. In the Uk the police will just snoop your phoes if they wish to and no search warrent is required.

Actually I have some sympathy for the re-seller here. Firstly they have been an ambassador for Apple since 1977 supporting the companies products through thick and thin. they have invested heavily at Apples request in a POS system only to have the g…

I suspect his manager did not like him and that this has NOTHING to do with Apple policy. I think the claim that he did not know he wanted promotion is fatuous and he said that because he cannot, or is unwilling to explain why he didn't promote …

The MBA is a brilliant machine. I have just about every Mac going and the MBA is by far and away my favourite. I don't miss the optical drive, I think I have only ever plugged the drive in twice since I have owned this machine. I think people here a…

I agree it is an over prices iPod touch and will not buy one for myself unless... The build in infra-red and then it can be a really smart version of a Philips Pronto universal remote. However, I think this thing will is going to replace the pc/l…

Competition works two ways. If there is only one shop they have a lot of power, Amazon could have been over charging and Macmillian could do little about it. Now with the iPad Amazon has competition and Macmillian has the upper-hand because the tail…

I don't know why Apple doesn't just buy IBM, it would give them such an "in" to the corporate world.

I Britain the Police have been arresting people for "Stealing airtime" it's not actually an offence but they just charge them under the computer missuse act. I don't know what even Mr Jobs can do about that!

It is quite extraordinary what a difference moving to Intel has made to Apple. You wonder why they didn't do it before. Apart from the 24" iMacs they don't seem to have put a foot wrong since.

I think that despite what Apple might think that most people want to be ablke to unlock their phones at the end of their contract. I think it is the fear factor of paying a lot of money for a phone that you are then lock in to a contract forever. It…
