I wonder if Apple is gearing up to bid on the USPS fleet contract? Autonomous, electric mail delivery. Would be a perfect match. http://www.autoblog.com/2015/02/18/usps-needs-new-delivery-vehicles-automakers-gearing/

Carbon fiber manufacturing capability. That's my best guess. That and battery tech. They patented a process not long ago to improve the surface appearance of carbon fiber, and they are busy patenting thinner display tech. The future of Apple is ligh…

...Pre-ordered at 4:08 EST, 32GB. Phew! What an ordeal. Don't know if it makes any difference, but I ordered through Apple's website after logging into my account. Had tried without logging in since 10am EST.

It's a good one, but I call HOAX. Apple doesn't do flat, and they don't do obvious seams. Gizmodo is many things, Apple fanbois is one of those things. They are having a good time with this one!

Quote: Not quite as they already made mobile electronic products. Point conceded. Quote: I'm not sure which part of the manufacturing they'd really have a part in. They don't manufacture iPods etc either technically. The T25 primarily sho…

I think it's awesome that Jobs will be back. I bet he's enjoying his new yacht, and it seems just more than a wee bit coincidental that he'll be back in June. Histrionic outbursts at high profile shareholder meetings are nothing new, but certainl…

Very nice work! Good idea using the wireless keyboard as a template, perfect angle. Filling out the underside to make more of a wedge shape would probably make a more realistic volume for internals.

I just threw 42" out there, a good minimum size for 1080p capable tv's. It's fun to speculate, within certain "realistic" limits, and Apple's penchant for all-in-one products (sorry....convergence) and their recent exclusive with LG, plus the iPhone…

Quote: Apple would have to buy Sega and some other dev houses to compete...and even if they did that, they'd get trashed by the Wii and DS. At least the iPhone is a PHONE. An AppleTV has a lot less cover in terms of being perceived as a wannabe con…

I'm tellin' ya, it's going to be an Apple television, built in Front Row with iTunes and iPhonesque OSX so it can game (iPhone "nano" remote, "premium games" section in iTunes).

I've already said this elsewhere, but I think it's relevant here. IMO, Apple might use the LG deal to release an actual flat panel television that incorporates a slot loading DVD (or BD) drive and a lite version of OSX that runs an enhanced version …

FWIW, I think Apple is most likely to release an actual Apple TV, say 42" minimum, with built-in iSight, iTunes, and front row. Combine this with a possible cable exclusive with ATT (UVerse), and Verizon (?), and you have the multimedia hub that the…
