Could it have been a power issue?

Nope. As it has been rehashed over and over: Apple is a Hardware Company with an awesome OS They would still charge more for their boxes than the competitors and if any old x86 box could run MacOS X, their revenues would drop to a point where App…

"Insiders" need to file to sell stock, usually months in advance. Just as Bill Gates diversifies (sp?), Apple Insiders do as well. Don't get your panties in a knot, this is a common practice. They're not doing anything wrong. The SEC looks very clos…

Japhy, Is this the original drive that is in the Cube or a replacement? A buddy of mine is having the exact same problem. He installed a new 7200-rpm Maxtor drive and has had problems ever since. If it is a different drive, it could be running…

Powerbook: Entourage does NOT connect to Exchange servers in the same manner Outlook 2001 does. You will NOT get all of the "cool" groupware features that Exchange provides. --Mike

Exchange uses a proprietary protocol called MAPI (look a lot like IMAP, eh?) to handle mail. It is very similar to IMAP but not compatable. Suprised? --Mike

I stare at two I.M. Pei buildings all day long--twin residential towers on the Boston waterfront near the NE Aquarium. I am amazed that he can make concrete look so good. --Mike

111 is nestled between the Prudential Tower and Huntington Ave. It just opened about 4 months ago. It basically sits on top of the Prudential stop on the E-Line. --Mike
