I just replaced the Dock with Workstrip. It's basically the Dock, pop-up folders and dragthing in one, plus it adds some some nifty features. Apple should have a good look at this. If you're a designer and need to browse through images/sounds/movies…

Just mailed some suggestions to softchaos, including those mentioned above. Any feedback I'll get I'll post here. I know have the dock hidden on the left-hand side, and use Workstrip full time now. In fact, I just bought it. Yep, that's how much…

damn, I was watching it and the moment I tried to download it, it was pulled off the server - real-time disappearing, very strange and frustrating. Screenshot did look very promising though!!

Calling it just a glorified page-layout prgram doesn't do it justice. Freeway takes Web design to a new level. It's the only true designer-friendly Web site tool, and is clearly as powerful as the better-known and more technically challenging compe…

I'm a big fan of Freeway, so totally biased I'm afraid. I suggest you have a look at this tread: www.softpress.com Have fun with it!

Thanks everyone for the quick replies. Suppose I have to wait for 10.1.3 :-(

Just use BookIt! It helps you synchronize bookmarks between upto 4 browsers: Omniweb, Netscape/Mozilla, IE and iCab. An absolutely amazing utility, well worth it's money!!!

I suggest you have a look at VR Worx (http://www.vrtoolbox.com/vrthome.html). It's out for OS X, and it worx like a charm. In my humble opinion it's much better than QT VR AS.

After using OS X full-time these last 6 weeks (no classic at all), I switched back to 9.2.2 to do some audio work. I had totally forgotten just how fast it was, and really hope 10.2 will bring a serious speed increase. So, if 9.2.2 is a 10, than …

Just wondering: has anyone here ever tried Freeway?? It's an amazing WYSIWYG html editor that produces unbelievably clean code. It just won the 2001 MacUser award for Web design/production software, beating out BBEdit 6.1.2 and WebObjects (both wort…
