The more I think about it, the more the 5C is an Apple fail. And this comes from and Apple fan knee-deep in Apple's ecosystem.

Meh! A lower price would have made each of those colors a lot more attractive... Not sure where Apple is going with this phone, because sure as heck it does not seem to be targeted at poorer people all over the world, including the US...

I think Apple needs to tend to their market share now, to protect their ecosystem. Don't do it when developers start to code for Android first, then Apple. That would be too late. I thought the iPhone 5C was going to be that kind of iPhone, but it's…

This wouldn't be so bad if the new Nexus 5 won't have decent specs and an much lower price... I think Apple could have gone lower on it. However, they can always lower the price if it does not sell. It should be $400 without contract.

I downloaded Screen. Not bad. Just as simple and elegant as their weather app. The Apple weather app is useless, without such info as chance of rain, humidity/windchill, etc. Apple needs to let me delete that app, or take their apps more seriously. …

It also hopes to restore confidence by installing antivirus on their smartphones.

There's even a copper or champagne-colored watch. I heard that will be in style after Sept. 10th...

This is what I call a "big, bold move", the kind Apple has not yet made. I wonder what someone had in mind when they used those words.

They really need another campaign, like they had during Vista, to point out the problems with Windows 8 and 8.1. I wonder why Apple marketing has been silent on this.

The only way you could double down more on secrecy nowadays is to release decoys. I don't think you can stop things like this one from appearing any longer.

Why don't you tell us what extra cost they're passing on to consumers? In order to calculate that, you'll need to know the difference in manufacturing cost (everything - materials, labor and overheads) as well as the difference in suppor…

Apparently, the study focused on the well-to-do in China only, and not the general populace. I guess this is still a huge market. If everyone in China was going to get a smartphone at that price, the market would be astronomically big.

I think as the smartphone market matures, Apple will need to lower their margins and cut the prices, just to maintain enough market share to keep the iOS platform and ecosystem viable. I think this is inevitable. Otherwise, they will again be rele…

This is my first look at this interface, since I do not have iOS7 beta. Not sure what to think yet. It's good to have a change, I'll see how it feels over time.

Siri should be taught the following new tricks: -how to work with the headphone button. For all intents and purposes, it's useless via the headphones button, when I ride my bike. The timing is off, that by the time I start speaking the command, I he…

Judging by the leaks of iPhone 5 cases, it looks legit. When those people in Asia start leaking stuff like this consistently, almost every week now, it kind of confirms it. So much for "doubling down on secrecy"... That being said, this might use th…

Thank God apple capitalizes their name. I'd be suspicious even if I saw apple using a crappy font, too
