So I FINALLY start getting decent exercise credit when I do an outdoor walk and average a pace of 3mph, and now this update will probably put it right back to where it was when I could walk for 30 minutes and get credited for a whopping 3 minutes of…

I don't have that second section 'Require Authentication' and my first section is titled "Use Personal Request On" and lists my speakers.

Sadly, if you do not use the account who runs the 'Home', any additional speakers can't use HomeKit. I was going to hook my wife's office speaker so she could use Personal Requests in her office, but then it removes it from the household.

As long as home ISPs give data caps, unless you are paying me to download and watch your ad, I will block them in most cases. Granted ads aren't 'huge' but some sites are lousy with them. There was another Apple fansite I used to visit that Ad Blo…

They just want the payout. If it was about safety, they'd be suing every phone manufacturer. Android-based phones don't do a lock out, Windows-based phones don't do a lock out. Hell, even most GPS devices don't do lockouts. You get a pop-up warn…

My MacBook Pro was the cheaper 15" with a couple CTO options. Bought day of the event. Card got charged this morning, but delivery still shows at 11/17-11/25.

This all stinks because I vastly prefer the Nest to the EcoBee 3 (was not impressed).

I am so tired of the labeling every issue as (something)-Gate.

I applaud this as the bulk of my surfing via phone is while connected to the data-capped cellular network. Every ad I have to see/download/watch on my smartphone is eating away at the limited data I can already consume. I'll watch your ad, but you…

How does it do with the heavier bands? I wonder if it would be enough to hold the link band's extra weight.

I still find this hard to swallow. Apple had a hard enough time getting people to port stuff to the Mac when they were running the PPC architecture. Only a few were even bothering at that point (Blizzard being one). Everything else went through …

What about a phone that is wiped and completely reinstalled? A buddy was showing me how easy it is to root a phone and all that jazz. When it started back up it said "Activating with carrier", is that included in their 'Activated every seco…

My wife was going to buy the super combo pack for Harry Potter, until she noticed the 'Ultraviolet' logo. She then recalled how cranky I was that Green Lantern was saddled with it and I had to use other means to get it to play on my iPad with no in…
