ABC/Fox is a good start but they really need to tap into some cable/satellite favorites to make a big splash. Discovery, Viacom, etc. All the NBC stuff -- which might be really difficult if Comcast is pulling the strings. (though the move to buy NBC…

I think the new Nano will basically be a half sized Touch with a streamlined/optimized UI. Probably something more widget driven instead of full blown apps. It'll be just big enough to emulate the old style iPod click wheel via touch and just big en…

I have terrible VZ coverage at my house so I have basically the same problem (not a Droid 2) but it's not that big of a deal. Just don't hold it that way. Seriously. These are amazing devices and all you have to do to avoid problems is not cover the…

Complete BS. There's a lesson to be learned here: Once upon a time fiber optics were limited to much slower speeds. Increased demand for bandwidth created innovation and drove down costs: 100Mbit/sec, 1000Mbit/sec, 10000Mbit/sec. Eventually price…

It could but... I dunno. Sony is a really dysfunctional company these days. It will probably take them a year to release it and it will have few games on launch. It will have to compete against 150 million iOS devices and another 100 million Android…

If they haven't been able to deliver a 2.1 update by now I wouldn't hold my breath for a 2.2 or 3.0 update in the future. That means they either have a bulky layer of proprietary software on top or some very closed hardware on the bottom.

Don't worry about it Yoko. We'll just download them for free instead.

What's the best anti-virus and anti-spyware program for Android? Norton or McAffee?

Sounds like another example of something completely overblown by the tech media. I understand AT&T has some serious issues in the bay area but the tech media assumes this is a nationwide problem. Like they can't comprehend there's a world outsid…

Aren't we all bored of this by now? I wish Apple would reject a high profile app or change the iPhone developer EULA so the drama queens would have something new to rage about. This material is old and no longer entertaining.

I would prefer to see a keyboard + trackpad device that mimics the same layout as the MacBooks. It's nice being able to use the trackpad with your thumb or index finger without moving your hands far from the keyboard. A stand alone trackpad wouldn't…

99 cents doesn't sound like a bad price but considering Americans have a compulsive need to watch, on average, 4.5 hours of TV per day that works out to $135/month if they were renting it all from iTunes. Most of those people will keep at least a mi…

Isn't it strange how the tech media covers App Store rejections like it's the end of the world as we know it yet they give a total free pass to Google denying developers the ability to sell apps in so many countries? The double standard extends to G…

Anyone who rushes out and buys a product on Day One has to expect some issues. My guess is for the first big initial production run QA standards are lowered a bit just to get the units out the door. Anyone who has to rush out and get it Day One does…

I don't mind waiting till next month. Glad Apple finally clarified the situation. The last minute announcement suggests they were trying really hard to fill those pre-orders at Best Buy (and elsewhere?) for launch day.
