My guess is Apple hasn't said anything officially yet hoping they can get at least a limited number of Storm Trooper edition iPhones into the states in time to avoid disappointing people. Since AT&T/Apple never took pre-orders that first batch w…

Hopefully we'll see an iPad version of the iDisk app this week too.

Gonna hold out for the white myself. Apple knows the majority of people are going to buy the black model so they have to focus on supplying enough units in the color most people want. Completely reasonable I think.

Given the choice of VZ, T-Mobile or AT&T I'd stick with AT&T. VZ: On the current CDMA network no simultaneous voice/data. Deal breaker for me. I use this feature just about every single work day to amuse myself while on long conference c…

Great! Does this mean Google is planning to give away all their proprietary advantages too? I bet lots of people would like to peak into the Google search algorithms, PageRank, etc. It would be really terrible for customers if Google kept it closed.…

Looking forward to the possibility of a 4.0 beta for the iPad at WWDC

The important thing to remember about Google is they basically have one revenue source and it's advertising. Going forward they will increasingly need to corner markets because advertisers need to be where the users are. Google's growth is directly…

I don't understand why people are still talking about this. It's a classic curated environment vs. open environment debate. There is no right answer or one-size-fits-all solution. It's good people have the choice. If you argue against Apple's curate…

He's right on about people not wanting more set tops. It's amazing how many people simply can't wrap their mind around switching inputs on a TV. If you have a stereo system on top of that it does get a bit complex. Too many remotes, too much mess, t…

Screen burn-in is also an issue with some OLED displays. I'm not sure if Samsung's Super AMOLED solves that or not. Google specifically warns of possible screen burn in the Nexus One manual so it's something to consider. Between this, outdoor viewin…

I wouldn't mind seeing Google get some competition. Web search has kind of stagnated in the last few years.

I agree we probably won't see 32GB @ $199. Not because they couldn't do it at that price point but because 16GB is "good enough" for just the right number of people to ensure a healthy market for the higher margin 32GB version. How many folks will u…

Big fan of the MBA. Bought one last year and I'm very satisfied with it. I'll probably skip this years model though. Don't need an upgrade quite yet. More memory & battery life would be on the top of my list. I think performance is fine for wha…
