Get one of the ones that are external and you put in a case and put your laptop on top of it. Those can last a lot longer than apples internal batteries. macaddict16

not all DVD-RAM disks are in cartridges -for example- panasonic dvd recorders and players all play dvd-ram and have a standard tray.

Use disk copy and make a disk image of the disk and then when you want to play just open the image and it will mount on your desktop just like a regular CD. Macaddict16
