At least AT&T is offering this plan as an option.....existing data plans remain. Verizon is forcing users to their new shared data plans.

Hmmm...I might be better off. I have 4 iPhones and 4 iPads. If I get the 10GB plan, total cost is $280.....which is what I am paying for now but with limited voice minutes and much smaller data plans that I can't share between devices.

You have been warned......almost a million Sprint Users viewing/complaining about iPhone service: http://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/78766?start=0&tstart=0

Purely speculation folks. My guess is that the carriers want to formerly "warn" users before they use this feature as it will chew up MBs faster than any other App.

Italy needs Apple FAR MORE than Apple needs Italy.

I like the "smoked gray" sides.....looks like the back will be less slippery. Nice.

Any word on a MBP 13" update?

I hope not.....looks too "feminine" to me.

I thought Cricket resells the same slow CDMA network from Sprint. If so, then it doesn't support data and voice at the same time.

I think the only regrets are from Sprint Customers. See this link to their own internal forum. Over 800,000 hits and counting...users are upset over their network. http://community.sprint.com/baw/thread/78766?start=0&tstart=0

Hmmm....right about the time Apple will release their LTE iPhone. T-Mobile....you are late to the party.
-
One thing we know....for a Sept/Oct release, the final prototype (among several) has already been chosen and parts suppliers are already prepping production. Can't wait. I'm due for an upgrade.

So, both AT&T and Verizon sold more iPhones in 1Q2012 than 1Q2011. Apple's earnings announcement (later today) should be interesting.

Isn't all metal liquid at some (high) temperature? Is this some sort of plastic-metal mix?

Sprint was "first" with 4G...WIMAX...what a mess...they are now abandoning it. Verizon was "first" with 4G LTE.....again....a mess...4 national outages since December. Also, they are focusing too much on the map....and not on the backend connect…

Why not? Apple sells different types of iPods (size and capacities).....why not give the consumer more choices for the iPad as well?
-
So, the "Can you hear me now?" network becomes the "Can you pay me now?" network.

Apple has no right to control what prices a supplier provides to other customers. If they want a supplier to be exclusive, fine. However, Apple should not be able to interfere with other supplier contracts.
