Hopefully they will do something like this. Honestly I think it's the only way to get non iTunes ringtones on to the iPhone, without using separate software. I just wish they would let us make our on sounds or use existing sounds.

I'd suggest it. I wrote to Apple that you should allow us to use iLife sound or even make one up in Garage Band. If enough people suggest it they might allow it.

It sounds good but Apple needs to be worried about extending themselves too far. The article did a good job outlining the various possibilities and I thought the best was to partner with somebody else to do the heavy lifting. It would give Apple a l…

What Apple has to worry about is not so much the player as much as the content. Apple has the best players around but iTunes is only strong because it's easy to use and people are locked into it having iPods. What I worry about happening are more NB…

I'd guess you can, but you should take a look at Apple's page about it. They have a intro video that I didn't get a chance to finish. It might be there.

The capacity is as good as you can expect using flash memory right now. A few thoughts occur to me. First, I'm not sure what role the iPod touch is supposed to play, but I'd guess Apple hopes to up sell people to the iPhone. It's a neat device to be…

You can print in iCal. My wife did it for her students and it seemed to work fine. Try it and see.

Most people consider it a new program rather than a update since it's so totally different. If you take it for what it is: a easy to use video editor and way to organize video than it's a good 1.0 release. But if you consider it the successor to 06 …

I've used very version of iMovie from the very first and for the last few days I've been getting used to 08. I've also edited everything from weddings to videos of my daughter. I can see why people are upset with 08 if they've gotten used to HD or w…

We use it and only it. For a consumer it really is the best option and I like the new events organization. I don't have .Mac so I can't speak to that part of it and I've not recently used the printing, prints, book, calendar, etc. so again I can't s…

Appleworks going is a bit sad but I have a feeling that the database functions will be taken up by other programs and we might even get a "Data" for iWork. Outside of business most users don't have need for a database but there's always somebody who…

If money isn't a issue I would go for the 24 inch if you need the room. I have a 20" and it's fine for me but I would have gotten a 24" if I'd had the money. Good luck.
