TV is dying, for me at least. Always commercials commercials...Manipulated information...Overreacting people...LiesLiesLies... The people that want to watch tv on such a little screen when they are out shopping or whatever, they have a big problem…

It depends what U want to do with it, if U need a lot of programs at the same time, get more RAM. If the processor is at 100% a lot, U can consider an upgrade, but as said, 2.5GHz vs 2.8 isn't a lot of difference, and 2.2 isn't too far away from 2.…

U need a DVI to HDMI adaptor to connect to the tv, which means no audio because DVI is video only. For audio U need to run another cable from the headphone output to your tv or a stereo.

Apple needs the artists or they wouldn't have a store. Commercial artists need record labels and get their money from live shows, but there are a lot of independant people (let's say dance producers) who have their own label. Weirdly enough, there a…

If the light is orange, it means the battery is charging. Could be that the battery is dead, but he should be able to use the computer when plugged in. -U can try option-P-R at startup, search for resetting PRAM on this forum. -U can try bootin…

I just opened mine, had a fan issue, removed the fan and look what was in there: I also left out the battery which makes a huge difference, but this might not be an option for U.

That's 3 years too late Apple! I had to buy 2 extra adaptors because of the badly designed adaptorcord for 100? each. Which makes it 283USD. The spark is not at the side where u put the socket in the wall, it's at the adaptor itself, where th…

The last half year my airport reception was very bad, I had to sit within 5 meters of my router. Now it seems to be resolved somehow, I don't know why. I already had my mbp apart to check the antennas which seemed fine then. Maybe it's now resolve…

It seems easy to replace the fans. It's held down by 3 screws and some tape. I oiled the center of the fans a bit & I haven't had the sound yet. I also called a service center which told me those fan's weren't very expensive and if 1 goes, it…

I have a MBP 1st gen too, and yesterday I heard there's something wrong with the right fan, it seems it's wobbling and makes a loud sound now. I'm going to have a look into it right now, I hope it's just some dust but I think it's the fan bearing…
