YES!!! You must order the bluetooth module, what you see on the back of the G5 case is for the antenna. The bluetooth module is on the motherboard, if you don't order it you CANNOT add internal bluetooth later on. There is an external solutio…

Mine shipped yesterday too, just read the email! Ordered 7/18, quoted on or before 9/29, shipped 9/19.

Well just noticed it's a Pentium 4!(lol)

Do you still have to pay a restocking, fee even if Apple replaces the the computer 10 days or less after you purchased it? H'm I think I'd argue about that, not saying you'll get any where but I'd try.

Is Apple Order Status down tonight? I've tried several times to check but I can't seem to log onto it.

Yes the i950 is the way to go. I have the following printers; Canon S800,Epson 890,Epson 1280,Canon i850,Canon i950 and you know what, the i950 is my favorite by a longshot. Prints gorgeous photos fast and is also great for printing documents.…

Yeah Luca, RadTech IceCreme, thats it. The MacAddict review showed an iPod screen that was very scratched up. They used the IceCreme on half the screen and it took out all of the scratches, including the very deep ones. They were gushing all abo…

We stopped into the Apple Store last night and asked a salesman I trust what he thought. He agreed that the 9600 Pro would be just fine but pointed out that if I was going to use dual monitors I might consider going with the 9800 Pro, as dual mon…

Well I changed it, I called Apple and was told that changing the video card will not delay my delivery at all. The change is already reflected on my order status with the same on or before 9/29 quote, who knows how long that might last!

Well the reason I'm hedging is that I'm not a gamer and don't know if the 9800Pro will mean anything to me as far as any performance benefits. If you're not a gamer does it make any sense to upgrade the 9600 Pro to the 9800 Pro?

Uh oh, if you configure a stock dual 2gig G5 on Apples website it quotes a 3-5 week delivery. Only a few days ago it was something like two weeks.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I am now officially macless, I sold my G4 & we gave our iMac to my parents and I'm waiting for my G5 to arrive. I'm not one who usually cares if something like a computer is delayed, but even though I'm u…

Oh man, I must have been drinking too much last night & misread the original question. Sorry, in my PC the 9800Pro is connected to the power supply.

You can use safaricon if you want to jazz up safari: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/10611

Here's a thread on that exact subject: http://discussions.info.apple.com/We...IK.2@.5998bc1a

Oh man. I just checked again and its back to 9/29. Not gonna let Apple drive me nuts, forget this thread.

The 9800Pro is a $300 upgrade. I was thinking of getting at least a pair of 512mb modules which is somewhere about $200. I don't play games but I do Photoshop work on a 23" display. The thing is it's either one or the other, either I spend th…

Yes I know, it's not that the G5 has a locking mechanism, it's the way it's designed. Not a big deal but just shows the attention to detail Apple put into the G5 case.

I played with a 1.6gig G5 this morning in a New Jersey Apple Store. It was sitting right next to a dual 1.25 G4, a sales associate took the time to show me some pretty cool comparisons in Photoshop between the G5 and the dual G4. For one of the …
