are you a windows convert? once you drag garageband in the trash and get rid of the extra loop files (and preferences and such if you like) it's uninstalled. it won't screw things up after the fact like windows. just throw it away.

i think he's wanting to go the other direction and pull the album art out from his music files in order to use that art in another program (like photoshop). that's interesting, there must be a way since apple's album art screensaver does just that.
